- Go to www.weather.com
- In local weather box at the top, choose a city other than Lincoln to enter (ex: San Diego, Omaha, Anchorage, Denver, Miami, Las Vegas, New York)
- Click GO
- Scroll down until you find the correct city (you might have to choose the “more cities” link)
- Click on the “Averages and Records” link for your city
IN EXCEL
- Enter the high and low numbers from Firefox in the correct columns.
- Create a chart
- Type = Line graph
- Series in = columns
- Title = ______________ Temperature Averages
(enter your city name in the blank)
- Value (Y) axis = Fahrenheit
- Show Data Values
- Legend on bottom
Save as LASTNAMEEXCEL5 to the desktop. Click and drag to your student folder and the hand-in folder. |
