IN EXCEL

1. Enter in all of the information below in the same format

IN FIREFOX

1. Go to www.weather.com
2. In local weather box at the top, choose a city other than Lincoln to enter (ex: San Diego, Omaha, Anchorage, Denver, Miami, Las Vegas, New York)
3. Click GO
4. Scroll down until you find the correct city (you might have to choose the “more cities” link)
5. Click on the “Averages and Records” link for your city

 

IN EXCEL

1. Enter the high and low numbers from Firefox in the correct columns. 
2. Create a chart
   • Type = Line graph
   • Series in = columns
   • Title = ______________ Temperature Averages

   (enter your city name in the blank)

   • Value (Y) axis = Fahrenheit
   • Show Data Values
   • Legend on bottom

Save as LASTNAMEEXCEL5 to the desktop.  Click and drag to your student folder and the hand-in folder.
